SBA 13-14 year old girls shattered a 29 year old record in the 200 yd free relay.  The old record, set by La Mesa Swim Team in 1976, fell by over 2 seconds.  The new record of 1:41.11 was the 5th fastest swum in the nation as of 17 Jan 2006 for the 05/06 short course season.  The same 4 girls (Jacquie Kimmel, Anna Pidcoe, Taylor Stoddard, and Andrea Voigt, shown below) improved this time two weeks later with a time of 1:40.50.
