Mission Statement

The South Bay Aquatics USA swimming program provides a unified multi-pool environment conducive to training and quality instruction that allows athletes to systematically progress from novice to national caliber level. Our dedicated and trained coaching staff and parental participation instill in our athletes at all levels, positive life-long values based upon teamwork, self-discipline, and healthy competition. South Bay Aquatics serves youth in the Bonita, Chula Vista, National City, Imperial Beach, Coronado, Eastlake, Otay Ranch, Rolling Hills Ranch, and southern San Diego communities.

South Bay Aquatics is currently seeking qualified individuals to augment our existing coaching staff for summer programs. Contact Head Coach Tom Paradowski for more information.

Special Two Week Trial Period:  Swimmer will receive two weeks of coaching, a welcome letter and information packet.  Swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards of any stroke.  $20 for two weeks.  We welcome swimmers all year round!  For more information, email: southbayaquatics@sbcglobal.net.

NEW!  South Bay Aquatics won the 2008 Summer Wrap up meet!  First Place!  Congratulations SBA!!!

NEW!  SWC time changes go into effect on 8/18/08.  4:30 p.m. advanced group begins.  4:45 intermediate group begins.  5:45 both groups end and novice groups begin.  6:45 p.m. novice groups end.   These times are not permanent and subject to change because of college scheduling in Sept.

NEW!  Thank you to all of the swimmers who participated in the Swim-A-Thon last week.  There will be a make-up day at each pool if you missed it!  Prizes will be awarded based on amount raised, highest amount raised, the pool with the largest number of participants/earners, etc.!  Please make sure all money is turned in by Aug. 29th so prizes can be awarded!  Please be sure to put the name of the pool on your swim-a-thon envelope!

NEW!  Have you registered your Albertson's Savings Card yet?  SBA has been approved to receive contributions through their community partners program!  Just log on to www.albertsons.com.  At the very bottom there is a link to "In the Community".  Click on there and then to the right of the next page click on "Albertson's Community Partners".  Click on "Shoppers" and you will be asked to put in your Albertsons number and your phone number (make sure you use the one you signed up with).  You will now be logged in and you can designate SBA as the recipient by putting in the number:  49001014662.  Please ask all of your friends and neighbors to sign up for this very easy way to earn money for our team and be sure to SHOP AT ALBERTSON'S!
